HUMBUG (Scrooge In Concert)

'Once upon a time, it was Christmas Eve and Tiny Tim was off to meet his father...' and so it began. Narrated by an older Tiny Tim,  the through composed score by Philip David Stern was first seen in concert at the Lamb's Theater off-Broadway and then toured the USA and Canada for several seasons.  It will soon be a cast album to be enjoyed year-round by fans of this famous story, told with respect to the original Dickens' story with beloved characters in tact.  The score blends features from operetta, film score, jazz and music theater in a seamless absorbing musical landscape. Pictured below is one of the original Scrooge orchestras with Stern conducting, and then some photos from various productions on tour.
